The short version
- We never sell your personal information.
- Kentucky Kept is in preview. The app saves your card, visits, ₭ and anything you type in your own browser, on your device. None of it is sent to us.
- If you email us, including through the Join and Apply buttons, we get your email address and what you write.
- Before we start keeping accounts on our servers, we'll update this page.
What we collect today
- Emails you send us. Your email address, your name if you include it, and your message. We use them to reply and, if you asked to join, to send launch news. We keep them until you ask us to delete them.
- Nothing from the app itself. The preview stores your member card, check-ins, ₭, and any business details or website edits in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data deletes them. We can't see or recover them.
- Basic technical data. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, processes your IP address, browser type and the pages you request so it can deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
Services your browser connects to
Pages on kykept.com load a few things from other services. Each one receives your IP address and browser details under its own privacy policy:
- Cloudflare, for hosting and security
- Google Fonts, for typefaces
- OpenStreetMap, for map tiles and embedded maps
- unpkg, for the code that draws the map
Cookies
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set a cookie that's strictly needed for security.
Business listings
The directory lists independent Lexington businesses using public data from OpenStreetMap: name, address, phone, hours and website. A listing isn't an endorsement by the business. We publish a business's free website only after its owner claims it. Owners can correct or remove a listing at any time by emailing hello@kykept.com.
Your choices
- Delete what the preview saved by clearing this site's data in your browser.
- Ask us what emails we have from you, or ask us to delete them, at hello@kykept.com.
Children
Kentucky Kept isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
